Ramoro Pinot Grigio Spumante Biodinamico Brut Nature

Pet Nats aren’t for everyone but this one is. I’m telling you I have a MAJOR crush on this vino.

I basically had my nose in the glass anytime I wasn’t sipping it— imagine smelling a really sweet and juicy grapefruit and tasting notes of strawberry and peach! Then add some delicious bubbles to make it ultra crisp and refreshing… you’ve got yourself a perfect wine to drink on it’s on, with brunch or even seafood!

I visited a couple biodynamic vineyards when I was farming in Italy and found their practices so romantic! Everything is connected— the vines are connected to Earth, farmers are connected to the soil but look up to the stars and moon for guidance on harvesting and pruning!

How is this wine made?
The growers follow the practices of biodynamic grape growing and use Maria Thun’s calendar when harvesting grapes.
— No additional yeasts are added- only those present on the grapes are used to turn sugar into alcohol.
— “Low winter temperatures” are used to stabilize wine (stop fermentation) instead of adding chemicals.
— Wine is not disgorged meaning that the “lees” aka dead yeast cells haven’t been removed from the bottle! Leaving this wine looking cloudy.
